You do not need previous experience, we provide tools you will need to teach the class, but those with musical/rhythmic backgrounds or teaching experience tend to pick up the format quicker.
What is the time commitment?
The program is a 3-step process:
You are required to review the materials, attend our 5-6 hour workshop, and submit your teach-back videos.
You are able to complete the full process as soon as 10 days from the certification workshop if your video teach-backs meets all of our standards.
You have up to three video submission opportunities for your video teach-back portion of the process.
Do I need any equipment?
All you need is a computer and some strong motha kickin wifi!
Do I have to teach once certified?
No! You are not required to teach after the certification. Some women get certified to become a bigger part of the community and do not teach, while others do go on to teach as much as they would like.
Once I am certified, where do I get classes to teach?
As a Level 1 instructor, we provide classes for you to learn. We have an online hub with recorded and approved content for you to teach. You can subscribe to the content class by class at your own pace. This content comes with a video and written out choreography.
Do I have to get re-certified?
Yes! One year from your certification, you are required to get re-certified. You can also progress into our Level 2 Certification after being certified for at least 6 months.
What do I do after the workshop?
You are put into a private group with the other instructors and this is a forum to learn about opportunities to teach, gain support, and ask questions about where to take your journey next. You also have a module in your Level 1 Certification that breaks down different ways to bring Kick It to your community.
